Coldplay concerts in Indonesia were marked by wars or ticket buying wars because so many people wanted to watch Chris Martin Cs. Now the story of a couple who doesn’t need to join the Coldplay concert ticket war has gone viral. Because this crazy rich couple brought Coldplay to their wedding.
The story of the bridal couple who invited Chris Martin and his friends to sing at their wedding began to spread widely starting from an upload by the TikTok account @wentandy. He uploaded a photo of his client capturing a moment with Chris Martin.
“About my clients Kent & Emily. When people were fighting for Coldplay tickets, my clients even flew them to France to sing at their wedding,” wrote the photo caption @wentandy.

The bride, known as Emily, looked beautiful wearing a strapless silver wedding dress with beaded details. Meanwhile, the groom, Kent, wore a black suit and bow tie.
According to the TikTok account @wentandy, Emily and her husband were the first couple to present Coldplay vocalist Chris Martin as a wedding singer. The group, which was formed in 1998 at University College, London, had previously always turned down offers to perform at weddings.
“My client is the first couple in the world where Chris Martin is the wedding singer at their event, previously Chris Martin was reluctant to appear at any wedding event. So, cool!” wrote @wentandy in his upload.
No less shocking, according to @wentandy, Emily is the adopted daughter of Michelle Yeoh, a famous film actress who won an Oscar in the best actress category for her role in the film ‘Everything, Everywhere, All at Once’.
“It turns out that the bride-Emily, is Michelle Yeoh’s adopted daughter, and Michelle Yeoh was also present at her wedding in France,” he wrote.
Kent and Emily’s pre-wedding moments were immortalized by world-renowned photographer, Elizabeth Messina. “This is their pre-wedding photo. Photo taken by world-famous photographer Elizabeth Messina (IG @ElizabethMessina),” he added.
The owner of the TikTok account, who is familiarly called Tandy, revealed that he was the designer of Emily and Kent’s wedding invitations. The two of them flew from Hong Kong to Singapore just for a meeting with Tandy. Then the next day, the two of them immediately returned to Hong Kong.
“This is one of the illustrations for the couple, I drew it with a pencil. BTW, these two people are the fathers of the couple,” he explained.
Emily’s white wedding dress was custom made by Oscar de La Renta. Tandy admitted that he was flown to Hong Kong only to deliver their invitation cards designed by him.
“Left in the morning and came back in the afternoon. They were really down to earth even though there were lots of people looking at them and taking photos along the way. I was even invited to eat and hang out before returning to the airport,” he recalled.
Tandy also shared a photo of his client with Arissa Cheo, ex-wife of Vannes Wu F4. Arissa was the one who recommended Tandy’s work to Emily.
“Next, I will share more videos of wedding invitation designs and the process. Well, this time I can only share my client’s wedding.
Tandy said that the couple’s wedding event which invited Chris Martin as wedding singer had been held for a long time. Next year, the bridal couple will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary.
Netizens were immediately excited and amazed by the couple’s wedding event. The upload from the TikTok account @wentandy has been watched by more than 164.5 thousand views and was immediately FYP on TikTok.

Wolipop confirmed
Wolipop has contacted Wendy Tandy who revealed the story of the couple Emily and Kent who presented the Coldplay vocalist as a singer at their wedding party. This man from Medan revealed the reason for uploading the post.
“The reason why I posted videos of my clients, Emily and Kent, was because of encouragement from friends and clients too. Actually, I have always wanted to post my work on my personal Instagram, for reasons of client privacy. So many projects I couldn’t show, so I was only known only among their circle. Because I want people outside that circle to also know about my work. And hopefully they can become clients, I tried with a TikTok post, hoping that people can know that there are many crazy rich and royalty projects in this world, Tandy explained.
